Outcry erupted at recent rally as crowd gathered to protest management of educational assessments . Organized by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP),protest hit Delhi on June 20, 2026. Second time they've rallied around this issue .
Protesters met with heavy police presence,chanting demands and waving signs at government officials. Rally crackled with urgency. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke led a call to action,urging use of “thali and chammach” (plates and spoons) as protest tools. Their main demand — resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan — echoed loudly .
Dipke told crowd change is crucial for students facing ongoing challenges. “We are here to solve today’s students’ problems,” he said. This followed earlier rally at same spot,where they aired grievances about exam integrity and delays hitting academic and career paths.
Before rally,Dipke sent open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,pushing for action on student concerns. Letter demanded accountability and called for Pradhan's resignation over exam issues.
