A major step in boosting employability: 245 students from Andhra Loyola College in Vijayawada wrapped up intensive training program. Designed to prep them for internships required by National Education Policy (NEP) 2020,this eight-day course was run with help from a youth development NGO.
During program, students picked up crucial workplace skills. They went through practical exercises like mock interviews and personalized mentorship sessions,leading to a campus recruitment drive . 81 students landed paid internships,with companies like Tata Electronics,Foxconn and Flipkart offering hefty stipends.
Beyond campus recruitment,110 students found internships through other means, like direct outreach and off-campus gigs . Total number getting placements: 191. A testament to how well the program prepared them for workforce .
