Teachers in Andhra Pradesh are being tasked with transforming education in the state,says Human Resources Minister Lokesh. On Friday, he met with 37 standout teachers back from a study tour in Singapore, urging them to act as change agents.
He told these educators to bring innovative practices from Singapore into schools,clusters,mandals. Confident their efforts could lift educational outcomes across the state. "Those who work hard and deliver outstanding results will receive special recognition," he said,promising rewards for excellence in teaching.
Lokesh argued that real social change comes through education,noting his ongoing study of global models . He emphasized that implementing tech like quantum computing and AI depends on strong education . Fits with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's vision for prosperous Andhra Pradesh.
He mentioned positive shift this year: over 100,000 students moved from private to government schools,showing faith in public education. But warned that changes won't happen overnight . Focus on learning outcomes,analytical thinking — key for transformation.
To ensure fairness in teacher promotions and transfers,the government enacted the Teacher Transfer Act. Transparent procedures based on seniority,free from outside influence. Lokesh trusts the state's teachers,urging them to showcase A.P.'s education model worldwide.
