Among those nabbed, Papinvar Sunil Kumar, 56, from Kothapet,Hyderabad. He's the leader. Accomplices: Eashwar from Ichoda, Girish Patel from Idar, Gujarat,two from Yavatmal — Rathod Pandit, Rathod Balaji. Four more suspects,two each from Adilabad,Yavatmal, still free.

Sunil Kumar, once a salesman for seed companies,set up ‘Seed and Biopesticide’ firm in Hyderabad in 2018 to run his illegal operations. He confessed. Smuggled fake seeds from Idar, sold to unsuspecting farmers in Adilabad with help from his team.
