Air Vice Marshal GKJ Reddy took command of College of Defence Management (CDM) in Secunderabad Friday,June 5 . He succeeds Major General G. Srinivas,who's moving to General Officer Commanding (GOC) for Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA).
Reddy,commissioned into fighter stream of Indian Air Force back in 1990,brings deep expertise. He's a Category-A Qualified Flying Instructor with over 4,500 flying hours. Educated at National Defence College and Defence Services Staff College,he honed leadership skills there .
Reddy's career packed with crucial command and staff roles,proving his mettle within military. Before CDM,he was Associate Director (PMT) at Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE),under Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
His time at CDM set to influence training and development of India's next military leaders. The college plays key role in crafting defense management strategies across tri-services…
