Canadian national football team stunned Qatar with a 6-0 victory in their second group stage match of 2026 FIFA World Cup in Vancouver. Now,Canada tops Group B with four points,tied with Switzerland,while Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar lag behind at one point each.

Goals came from all over. Cyle Larin started it off in 16th minute. Then Jonathan David exploded with three goals — 29th,45th,90th minutes. Nathan Saliba added another in the 64th minute. And Qatar's Mohamed Manai accidentally scored for Canada with an own goal in 75th minute.

“We showed world who Canada is. A lot of players came from nowhere,basically,” Larin stated after match. “We showed the fight we have in us. And we showed that we can perform on world stage . We are just getting started,”
