N. Chandrababu Naidu,Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh,called on law enforcement to ramp up efforts against drug trafficking. He met with a spiritual group,underscoring urgent need for rigorous action against narcotics,which he labeled major threat to society.
Naidu told top police to strengthen operations,target trafficking rings, and enforce strict penalties. Anxiety is high over drug misuse's impact on community.
Naidu also launched a cutting-edge CT scan facility at Kuppam Government Area Hospital,part of Swarna Kuppam Vision-2029 . Facility cost ₹1.70 crore,funded by Corporate Social Responsibility contributions from Airports Authority of India. He said timely diagnosis of neurological,chest, and abdominal issues would greatly help locals.
A new dialysis unit opened too,officials said. It's conducted over 45,000 dialysis sessions,helping 233 patients and treating about 45 daily in three shifts. But nearly 500 patients still await treatment . Naidu urged expansion to meet demand.
Later, Chief Minister reviewed Sanjeevani Digital Health Initiative,pushing preventive medicine as key to healthcare. He proposed a digital platform merging public and private medical records,so every citizen has one health record.
