This is second of six cases against Manu M . Same allegations. Court already convicted him last month in another . Trials for four more done. Special Public Prosecutor R.S. Vijay Mohan said latest incidents happened in 2018,soon after victim started training at local cricket coaching center.

Abuse began when coach lured girl to gym and bathrooms,pretending it was training . He took nude photos and videos,threatened another survivor to ensure silence. When victim resisted,her coaching quality fell,leading her to switch centers in 2019. She stayed quiet, worried about her cricket career.

Manu M. also accused of abusing five other girls. All changed centers,fearful of speaking. Situation surfaced during girls' cricket tournament in Thiruvananthapuram,2024, when one victim saw coach and broke down. This pushed others to come forward,file complaints .
