Police in Dehradun broke up illegal gambling ring Wednesday,arresting 13 people,including a U.S. national. Raid happened at a home in Tibetan Colony,under Rajpur police station's watch.

Cops seized over ₹1.5 lakh in cash,plus US dollars,playing cards,gambling chips,and dice. Tip-off led them to high-stakes gambling in area . Surprise raid on house along Sahastradhara Road caught 13 gambling at four tables.

Among arrested: Tashi Dando,a U.S. citizen from Oregon; Tenzin Chhoge from Sirmaur district,Himachal Pradesh,and 11 more from Tibetan Colony. Police found 167 decks of cards,625 dice,118 gambling chips,besides cash and foreign currency .
