Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is probing after an accident at Kanpur airport where trainee pilot got hurt by a spinning propeller. Happened Friday,June 26,2026, after she stepped off the twin-engine Tecnam P2006T, registration number VT-NBV.
June 28, 2026,Garg Aviation, a flying school, was running night training flights. After landing,pilot exited while engine still running, leading to back injuries from propeller.
The injured cadet is now in hospital in Kanpur. Instructor removed from duties as investigation goes on . DGCA ordered aircraft grounded till inquiry wraps up.
