Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) launched two key operations in Ranga Reddy district Tuesday,reclaiming government land, tackling lake encroachments. First,officials secured five acres in Khanamet village, Serilingampally mandal,along road linking Metal Charminar and HITEX Exhibition Centre .

After a Revenue Department complaint,HYDRAA dismantled two sheds,a room,fencing illegally put up on land. Reports said people blocked access for years,falsely claiming it. Local revenue authorities requested action,so agency cleared encroachments,put up signs marking it as government land.

In another move,HYDRAA focused on Marripalli Lake,Abdullapurmet mandal,after complaint. A field check found lake's Full Tank Level (FTL) area encroached. An RMC unit set up on nearby land,soil dumped within FTL. Temporary structures built for workers led to nearly five acres filled with soil .

HYDRAA acted fast,demolishing unauthorized sheds,marking FTL boundaries . Fencing went up to stop future encroachments while allowing agriculture to continue. These operations show HYDRAA's focus on protecting public land,resources…but how long can they keep it up?
