IKO just opened a new manufacturing campus in Clay Hill,Florida. It's a big move for their North American operations. The $240 million facility will create over 100 local jobs, boosting production in the region.
June 17, 2026,marked the grand opening. Key IKO figures like David Koschitzky, CEO of IKO North America, and Guy Tremblay,Vice President of Operations,were there . Local leaders too — Jim Renninger,Clay County Commissioner,and Jon Cantrell, President of Clay Hill Chamber of Commerce. Community backing is strong.
Covering 300,000 square feet, this is IKO's first Florida site. Initially,it will have three production lines for asphalt shingles, insulation boards, and residential underlayment rolled roofing. Asphalt shingle line is first to start . Others will follow in next phases .
Attendees toured the site, seeing advanced manufacturing tech in action. Koschitzky called it crucial, saying,“This project reflects our long-term commitment to growth, innovation,and strengthening our manufacturing capabilities close to the markets we serve.” Timed with IKO's 75th anniversary,it's a big milestone.
Cantrell praised IKO's local commitment,saying,“Their investment in North Florida and strong focus on their goals is an example to other community leaders.” He noted IKO's active role in the Chamber and economic initiatives,boosting the region .
Tremblay highlighted Clay Hill's role in IKO's larger network. He said it boosts IKO’s ability to meet demand in the southeastern U.S., integrating production across product lines .
The Clay Hill campus opening follows IKO's North American growth trend. New sites in Chester County, South Carolina, and Ennis,Texas. Plus ongoing investments in places like Bismarck, Missouri,and Brantford,Ontario.
