After India's loss to England in second T20I at Manchester,wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan stressed team must better understand match conditions. He noted three no-balls from leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi gave England's Jacob Bethell room to shine with aggressive slog overs batting.
Kishan showed confidence in squad, calling the team “perfect.” He admitted bowlers' past successes on tough pitches but emphasized adapting to different conditions. “When you do not win, there are a lot of thoughts coming in; a lot of ‘ifs and buts’ are coming in,” he said, reflecting on mental hurdles after defeat.
Despite setback,Kishan insisted bowlers have proven their skills in tough spots. “I do not think we could have done anything different looking at team side.” But he repeated need to improve pitch understanding, especially abroad. “We just need to understand situation and what pitch requires from us as a batter and as a bowler,” he added.
Team looks ahead… Kishan's insights show commitment to learning and improving for future matches.
