K. Bhagyaraj,a celebrated figure in Tamil cinema, passed away on Saturday after suffering a cardiopulmonary arrest. 73-year-old actor and director was rushed to Apollo Hospital,where attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Bhagyaraj leaves behind his wife, Poornima Bhagyaraj, and their two children, actor Shanthanu and Saranya Bhagyaraj.
