Kalashnikov aims to crack Indian market for Indian Armed Forces. Company will demo its all-climatic high-altitude reconnaissance drone, the SKAT 350M,locally known as Garuda, said director of business development for Kalashnikov in India.
Main goal: produce locally. Karavaev mentioned an Indian partner will handle assembly and make specific parts, ensuring tech transfer. The SKAT 350M's proven itself in tough spots, especially high-altitude zones, critical for Indian military. Karavaev noted it reached 9,500 meters in Himalayas, far above 3,000-meter military drone minimum . "Not every drone flies confidently in such conditions," he added.
Kalashnikov showed its tech at India Homeland Security Expo in New Delhi, emphasizing its push to meet Indian military's unique requirements. Partnership with local firms not only aims to boost efficiency but also aligns with India's defense production goals…
