Big win for education in Telangana: Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) announced 212 faculty members from 33 institutions completed its AI-focused initiative, Project Drona 2.0. This program boosts educators' skills in AI and related fields, prepping them for tech-driven job market.
Right now,another 185 faculty members are chasing their certification milestones. It's one of largest programs in region,spans nine months,and draws participants from over 60 engineering institutions. Focus isn't just on AI — also leadership, curriculum innovation,industry engagement.
Using Infosys Springboard learning platform,Project Drona 2.0 offers 14 AI modules, five leadership courses,four AI certifications,plus hands-on capstone projects . The convocation, held with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), stressed need for AI-savvy educators to strengthen academia-industry links.
Speakers,like Telangana Council of Higher Education Chairman V. Balakista Reddy and JNTU Hyderabad Vice Chancellor Kishen Reddy,stressed AI-educated faculty's key role in research and consulting.
