Event at Taj West End marked his first official inauguration since taking office. He highlighted city's rich pool of IT pros,engineers,nurses,and other skilled workers vital to global economies .

Shivakumar also said Bengaluru is one of safest cities for living,working . This year’s Hindu Huddle theme,“A World in Transition,” was curated by the newspaper’s Opinion Editor, Narayan Lakshman .
