Mohan Kumar Danappa, linked with Karnataka State Police Complaints Authority, has formally asked top brass to upgrade uniforms for lower-ranking officers . He wants metal whistle chains, buttons swapped with anti-corrosion alternatives . Aim is to stop rust damage, which could also be a health hazard .
