Kerala High Court snagged Gold at National e-Governance Awards 2026 for its District Court Case Management System (DCMS) . Out of 104 entries in "Innovation by Use of AI and Other New Age Technologies for Providing Citizen-centric Services (State and State PSUs)," it came out on top . Ceremony set for July 1-2 in Jaipur,Rajasthan.

Kerala High Court is India's only one to build its district case management software in-house. DCMS,a digital platform, is now in use across Kerala's district judiciary and courts in Union Territory of Lakshadweep. It's all about modernizing court management and pushing toward paperless operations.

The system handles every case step from filing to disposal . Kalpetta Judicial District in Wayanad hit a milestone as nation's first paperless judicial district, declared by Chief Justice of India on January 3,2026. More courts in Kerala and Lakshadweep set to go paperless step-by-step.
