Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of Russian President for Investment and Economic Cooperation,said Russia can offer world's cheapest energy,especially for data centers. At St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), he claimed this could draw global interest as nations push forward with AI.
"Besides China,this may be of interest to entire world," Dmitriev said,pointing to energy issues many countries face. He talked up Russia's chance to lead in this sector,hinting at a major role in global AI scene .
SPIEF, running June 3-6, centered on theme "Pragmatic Dialogue: The Path to a Stable Future." Anton Kobyakov,presidential adviser and SPIEF organizing committee's Executive Secretary, said forum brought in delegates from 142 countries. Over 1,000 contracts were signed,totaling 6.642 trillion rubles (around $90.15 billion).
