22-year-old woman found dead in Bengaluru home Saturday,police say. Arrested a male friend who allegedly killed her. Victim identified as Bhavani S.,discovered at rented house in Tulasinagar, under Byadarahalli Police Station .

Bhavani lived alone after graduation, working at mobile phone shop in Tigalarapalya. Family got worried seeing photos of her with a man online. Calls went unanswered, so they contacted house owner and neighbors for help .

Neighbors arrived,found door locked from inside,called police. By time Bhavani's family got there,authorities had forced entry. Inside,they found Bhavani dead on floor . Man named Chandrashekar was unconscious but alive. Room reeked of poison .

Chandrashekar taken to hospital. Srinivas, said Chandrashekar was in relationship with his daughter. Family had been looking for groom,which led Chandrashekar to threaten Bhavani about marrying someone else.

Srinivas claims Chandrashekar went to Bhavani’s home to kill her. Complaint says he strangled her,then tried to kill himself with poison. Police charged Chandrashekar with murder,investigating case. Waiting on medical and forensic reports to clarify what really happened…
