In a shocking turn,workers from West Bengal were robbed at knifepoint in Bengaluru. Happened as they relaxed after shifts,exposing risks migrants face in city.
Event unfolded around 6:30 p.m. A group of friends, including 20-year-old Sabir, gathered. Three men approached,tricking Sabir by claiming they were sent by his friends. Sabir didn't know them,but they insisted on checking his phone for photos. After looking,they grabbed his phone and ran toward a nearby temple.
Sabir gave chase,his friends quickly followed. But things got worse. Robbers pulled weapons — knife,club. In fight,two friends got hurt. Thieves demanded cash,made off with ₹10,000,multiple phones,victims' SIM cards.
