Nepali politician Rabi Lamichhane,head of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP),dropped into New Delhi Wednesday . He met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talks came amid territorial disputes that have strained ties,yet highlighted India's push to strengthen links with its Himalayan neighbor .
Prime Minister Modi,during discussions, expressed India's eagerness to work closely with Nepal's new political leaders . This cooperation,he said,would strengthen existing bonds. And he called Nepal a key partner in India's "Neighbourhood First" strategy. A post later on X from Prime Minister shared his satisfaction from meeting Mr. Lamichhane,hoping for a richer relationship and shared vision for future prosperity.
