Post-mortem on pet dog now key to probe into two-year-old Sunkara Gnaneswari's disappearance in Tuni, Andhra Pradesh. Dog was with toddler when she vanished June 6, examined Sunday at N. Sooravaram Veterinary Hospital in Kakinada district. Returned home June 9,died under suspicious circumstances June 13 at girl's residence.
Authorities fitted dog with GPS tracker, letting it cover over 80 kilometers in search for Sunkara . After its death,Tuni Circle Inspector G. Chennakesava Rao confirmed blood samples,veterinary reports sent to forensic lab in Visakhapatnam for analysis. "The post-mortem's done,samples forwarded for forensic analysis," he said.
