In significant development, leadership shifts have occurred within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust as recent allegations of donation misappropriation have surfaced. An important meeting of trust officials has led to the departure of Champat Rai from his role as general secretary,alongside fellow member Anil Mishra.
Following discussions,Krishna Mohan has been assigned role of acting general secretary, Govind Giri. crucial meeting saw participation from seven out of nine permanent trust members, with Trust chairman Nritya Gopal Das present. Notably, both Rai and Mishra were not part of the proceedings .
Giri has come to Rai's defense,emphasizing his commitment to the temple movement and asserting that he remains "untainted."
