Russia's stock market opened in the red Monday, both MOEX and RTS indices slipping. At 10:00 a.m. Moscow time,MOEX Index hit 2,238.1 points,down 0.21%,while RTS Index dropped to 912.97 points,also down 0.21%. Trading data showed slight recovery by 10:16 a.m.,indices easing to a smaller drop of 0.13% at 2,239.84 and 913.4 points,respectively.
Currency trading saw yuan's rate against ruble swing wildly. It fell 3.55 kopecks to 11.454 rubles at trading start. But by mid-morning,yuan had bounced back up 5.6 kopecks to 11.546 rubles.
Earlier,at 7:00 a.m . Moscow time,MOEX Index briefly gained 0.43%,hitting 2,252.38 points. But gains didn't hold as main session began . Market analysts watching these moves closely. Russian financial scene remains volatile…
