Seven Bangladeshi nationals were detained in Hyderabad as part of police operation targeting illegal immigration. The Jeedimetla police conducted the search in the Gajularamaram–Jeedimetla area after receiving credible intelligence about a group residing unlawfully in a rented house within the HAL Colony.
During the operation, authorities discovered that none of the individuals held valid passports,visas, or any travel documents that would allow them to remain in India. Initial investigations indicated that they had entered the country illegally and had been living in various regions across India .
Following their apprehension,the police secured the necessary orders to detain the individuals and restrict their movement. They are currently being transferred to Deportation Centre located in Jogipet, Medak district. Police officials confirmed that the deportation process is underway,adhering to legal protocols.
Once all formalities are completed and verified by the appropriate authorities, the seven detainees will be repatriated to Bangladesh. The police emphasized their commitment to enforcing immigration laws and ensuring that individuals residing illegally are dealt with according to established procedures.
