Starting July 1,a 15-day cleanliness push called “Swachhata Pakhwada 2026” kicks off,led by The Hindu In School with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). It's tied to India's Swachh Bharat Mission. Goal: spread cleanliness culture nationwide .
Targeting students of all ages, campaign hits 50 chosen government schools in Chennai. Events like drawing contests,slogan creation,essay writing aim to spark creativity and active involvement. drive hopes to make cleanliness a community-driven effort,turning it into a lasting national habit.
Top performers get recognized, with awards for one winner,two runners-up,seven consolation winners in each category . The program aims to do more than just raise awareness — it wants students to become cleanliness ambassadors in their areas.
