Sunday saw the Visakhapatnam district committee of Praja Natya Mandali mark 43 years since Telugu poet Srirangam Srinivasa Rao, or Sri Sri,passed away. Held on Beach Road,event was a colorful tribute to the poet's lasting literary impact.
Traditional Kuchipudi dances by Rajarajeswari Kuchipudi troupe and songs inspired by Sri Sri's poetry filled the program. Members of Muthyalu Ragini group performed. These acts paid homage to Sri Sri's legacy,which still connects with audiences today.
M. Chanti,district secretary of Praja Natya Mandali,and Francis,district president of Sahiti Sravanthi, laid floral tributes . Their gestures showed deep respect for poet's influence on Telugu literature and culture .
