Third edition of Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) Sailing Regatta wrapped up Tuesday at Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad . Event aimed at boosting sailing as competitive sport within Corps. Participants came from various ranks,including new Agniveers.

At closing ceremony,Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney,Commandant of Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) and Commodore of EME Sailing Association (EMESA),highlighted regatta's role in grooming skilled sailors for bigger stages. He was proud of the progress .

“The regatta would serve as a stepping stone for sailors aspiring to participate in major events such as the ILCA Open Sailing Competition and Hyderabad Sailing Week,”
he stated.

In ILCA-6 category,Agniveer Patil Anuraj took first, Sepoy Mahesh second,and Agniveer Patil Siddhesh third. ILCA-7 category saw Agniveer Harsh Tiwari claim victory, with Lieutenant Colonel Mayank Srivastav and Major Lanka Kiran in second and third. Southern Command won overall championship trophy.
