Air India flight crossed into Pakistani airspace by mistake night of June 22,2026, during a go-around at Amritsar airport. Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) acted fast, targeting air traffic controller and crew for not reporting it .
Aircraft VT-PPV was told to hold due to runway check after bird strike. In process,plane briefly entered Pakistan's airspace. Coordination with Pakistani control happened, and flight diverted back to Delhi, landing safely.
