Sharvari celebrates a big birthday just after her film Main Vaapas Aaunga hit screens June 12. Directed by Imtiaz Ali,it's grabbing attention. Co-star Alia Bhatt marked occasion on social media with heartfelt message.
Bhatt's Instagram story showed Sharvari playing "Maskara" on piano from film . She wrote,"Happy birthday star. Wishing you all the joy in world and more." Gesture showed camaraderie between actresses,who will appear together in upcoming film Alpha.
Out on July 3,Alpha is first female-led entry in YRF Spy Universe. Produced by Aditya Chopra,it also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in major roles. Teaser released June 10 shows Bhatt as a fierce assassin, trained by Deol's character.
Sharvari admires Bhatt's support throughout their work together. In interview,she recalled Bhatt's quick message after Main Vaapas Aaunga was announced. “She is a real cheerleader,” Sharvari said. “I remember she messaged me right after it was announced,saying, ‘I am so excited that you and Vedang are doing Imtiaz sir’s film at this time in your career. When you are exploring yourself,and you are new,the best director is Imtiaz sir; he will help you in this discovery.’ I didn’t understand what she meant then,but I do understand what she meant now.”
Release of Main Vaapas Aaunga is big moment for Sharvari,starring with Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah,and Vedang Raina. Set during Partition, film is already buzzing with audiences.
