Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) launched targeted operation Saturday to tear down unauthorized structures in Amaravati capital region. Aim: enforce zoning laws, promote organized urban growth.
In villages like Krishnayapalem,Venkatapalem,APCRDA officials,with help from various departments,removed encroachments blocking roads, footpaths,government property. Cleared containers,temporary sheds,banners,flex boards . Pedestrian and vehicle movement freed up.
Authorities said these actions align with regulations to boost public safety, systematic development of Amaravati. Removing these obstacles will improve traffic flow,make daily commute easier for residents.
Officials stressed commercial activities must follow approved guidelines. Installing containers,sheds,any permanent or semi-permanent structures without authorization is strictly forbidden in capital city area. Encroachments on government land,road right-of-way zones,public spaces face strict penalties.
The APCRDA warned that unauthorized encroachments could be removed without notice, as per rules. Authority plans more enforcement drives to keep Amaravati development on track…
