HAL police have launched investigation into claims of abuse at crèche inside Capgemini's Brookefield campus,Bengaluru. Case filed against facility's in-charge and several caregivers after complaint from Tilakesh Kumar, a parent .

Incidents allegedly took place June 25 at 'Little Buds Day Care.' Kumar said staff abused children physically and mentally. Accusations include beating,dragging kids who cried or misbehaved. Some reportedly locked in washroom,had water poured on them as punishment.

Situation blew up when videos of distressed children started circulating on WhatsApp,putting facility's practices under microscope. Police booked case under Section 351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS),2023,and Section 75 of Juvenile Justice Act.
