Nitin Nabin,president of Bharatiya Janata Party, lashed out Sunday at Congress and Samajwadi Party, slamming their long-standing opposition to Ram Temple . Speaking in Lucknow,he said no group or person would be allowed to disrespect believers' faiths.

Nabin highlighted ongoing Ram Temple controversies, accusing rivals of historically undermining Lord Ram's authenticity. He cited a Supreme Court document calling Lord Ram a fictional figure,condemned violence against devotees. “Those who claim to champion faith now were once against the Ram Temple,” he said, reaffirming BJP's commitment to its significance.

While sidestepping recent financial misconduct claims tied to the temple,Nabin vowed government action where needed. He argued that those who disrespect traditional beliefs can't question temple's credibility. “Forces opposed to Hindu values,who routinely belittle Hindu deities,cannot lecture us on politics,” he declared.

He singled out Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav,warning them not to underestimate Hindu community's strength. He reminded of times these leaders stayed silent during controversies affecting Hindu rituals, such as recent Bihar Ramcharitmanas debate.

Sharing personal story about his father's dedication to Ram Temple cause, Nabin recalled how his father, a kar sevak,spent two months jailed. “We were uncertain if he would return to us. Now,you challenge our faith?” he said, contrasting his family's commitment with opposition's past anti-Hindu actions .

At conference,with figures like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Nabin urged party to prepare for 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. “You are essential to the party. We must pledge today that each of us will work diligently to ensure BJP's victory in Uttar Pradesh once again,” he proclaimed.
