Businessman donates gold and silver worth ₹1 crore to Srisailam temple

On Saturday, Matte Srinivas and his wife Vidyullatha made a generous donation of nearly ₹1 crore in gold and silver items to Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam. Their contribution comprised 73.500 grams of gold ornaments and 42.516 kg of silver articles, which they handed over to temple executive officer M. Srinivasa Rao.

On Saturday, Matte Srinivas,managing director of Sri Lalitha Enterprises Industries Private Limited,and his wife,Vidyullatha,gave big donation to Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam . Offerings worth nearly ₹1 crore included gold and silver items for temple's deities.

The couple handed over 73.500 grams of gold ornaments and 42.516 kg of silver articles. Among items were gold ‘Namams’—forehead marks—and silver ‘Jatajutam’ with a crescent moon design . Also included a gold ‘Rudraksha’ garland and several silver ritual objects . Temple's ceremonial collection enriched.
