Getting ready for International Yoga Day,Guntur police set up major security for a special yoga session at historic Undavalli Caves on June 20. Event will feature Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Both are also attending a state-level gathering in Vijayawada on June 21 .
Thursday,Vakul Jindal, Guntur Superintendent of Police,with District Collector C.M. Sai Kanth Varma and other top officials,inspected venue thoroughly. They looked at security aspects: traffic management,crowd control. VIP routes,parking,public entry and exit got special focus. Emergency systems reviewed for readiness.
For coordination,an Advance Security Liaison (ASL) meeting was called. Jindal stressed need for strong security to prevent incidents. Urged departments to work closely with law enforcement for smooth arrangements.
Guntur district police advised participants to follow traffic advisories,cooperate with security during the event. These steps aim to keep things safe and enjoyable . But will everything go as planned…?
