Results of CA Intermediate Examination held May 2026 announced today by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). 1,53,862 candidates took part,spread across 611 centers in India and abroad.
Group I had 91,237 participants,but only 9,350 passed. Pass rate was 10.25%. In Group II, 64,381 appeared,10,372 passed. That’s 16.11% pass rate. Overall,just 8.47% of candidates passed both groups,with 28,820 clearing exam.
Top rankers? Shardul Shekhar Vichare from Dombivali led with 531 out of 600 (88.50%), followed by Abhinav Satheesh from Kochi scoring 530 (88.33%),and Teerth Jain from Mumbai with 519 (86.50%).
CA. Prasanna Kumar D, ICAI President,congratulated successful candidates. He stressed perseverance,saying, “Success is a continuous path; whenever we achieve a milestone,we must set new benchmarks,move toward new dreams and work relentlessly to fulfill them.”
