On Friday,K. Annamalai,founder of We The Leader movement,raised alarm over Tamil Nadu's finances as laid out in recent White Paper from ruling TVK-led government. He called for consultation group of academics,economists,experts to craft strategies to tackle ongoing fiscal crisis .
In social media statement,Annamalai stressed urgency,urging government not to use White Paper as excuse for inaction . "TVK government has very little time and must not treat this White Paper as an excuse for non-performance; instead,it should explore ways to repair damage done," he said.
The White Paper serves as critical analysis of state’s financial mismanagement over last five years . Annamalai noted it exposes deterioration in Tamil Nadu's fiscal health and compares financial indicators with other industrialized states. This should prompt immediate action,he argued,not delay.
