Kerala State Waqf Board says its new Central portal lets state boards upload property details, countering allegations of illegal activity around Munambam property. In a report to Union Ministry for Minority Affairs, CEO C.M. Manju stressed portal has "enabling provision and technical functionality" for direct data entry by board.
Statement followed board meeting Wednesday,report approved amid growing scrutiny. Controversial Munambam Waqf property's details uploaded to meet statutory requirements . Manju clarified no new registrations or title changes were made. Board acknowledged pending litigations, including court cases, as subject to outcomes.

Munambam property,linked to Muhammed Siddique Sait,registered as Waqf in 2019 after investigations confirmed status. Registration followed failure of its Mutawalli, Farook College management committee,to apply for registration. Board said process followed thorough inquiry and evidence collection .
Board also cited government order from November 27,2024, appointing ex-High Court judge C.N. Ramachandran Nair to lead Commission of Inquiry on Munambam dispute.
