Granite Falls crushed Wabasso 10-0 in Corn Belt League action Wednesday night. The Kilowatts flexed muscle at Richter Field . Bennett Knapper set tone with a solo homer in first inning.
Knapper was key,finishing with two hits,three RBIs,two runs. His homer sparked Granite Falls' early domination. Eight runs in second inning. Six walks,five hits — score surged to 9-0 fast.
Phil Johnson,Hunter Wilke added firepower. Johnson went 2-for-2 with a double and a walk. Wilke had two hits,an RBI,a run. Granite Falls now 8-2 . Wabasso slumped to 1-8, four losses in a row .
On mound, Bryce Sneller shined,allowing just six hits,striking out five over seven innings. His performance locked the shutout for Kilowatts.
Granite Falls faces Willmar Indians next. Last time, Indians edged them 3-2. Game set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Elsie Klemmetson Field,Willmar.
