First service, run by Air India,kicked off at Varanasi airport. Naidu said in six weeks,program will cover six more airports. “All SOPs and systems are finalized; all stakeholders are on board,” he said at press briefing.

After Varanasi,next up are airports in Ahmedabad,Amritsar,Vadodara,Kochi,Mumbai,Hyderabad,Chennai,and Visakhapatnam. Campbell Wilson,Air India CEO,stressed how this boosts passenger convenience.
