Nvidia is teaming up with Unitree Robotics from China and Singapore's Sharpa to launch a new humanoid robot reference design. The aim? To advance robotics. Jensen Huang, Nvidia's CEO, introduced the H2+ design during his keynote at the Computex conference in Taipei. It’s meant to help researchers working on humanoid robotics .
The H2+ design will make life easier for developers. It zeroes in on data collection, policy training, and real-world deployment. Huang pointed out the hurdles in building agentic systems, saying,“For agentic systems, robotic systems and physical AI,data is the hardest problem.” He stressed that managing data well is crucial for boosting robotic skills .
The global robotics industry is changing fast. Partnerships like this fuel research and development. This collaboration signals a rise in international tech cooperation, potentially leading to breakthroughs in humanoid robotics.
