The body of singer-songwriter Oliver Tree is back in California after a tragic helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro that took his life and six others. His family shared the news on Instagram, saying he can "finally rest." They also plan to honor his last wish by setting up a charity in his name.
Tree, 32 at his death,was on a world tour. Last performed June 6 in São Paulo, Brazil. He was due next in Lisbon,Portugal,July 1, then Glasgow,Manchester, London in September.
The Instagram post shared family’s promise to fulfill Tree's wish outlined in his will. Named Dr. Oliver Tree's Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses,the charity aims to make a difference. Family thanked fans for love,support during tough times. "Love you all so much,Oliver would be so proud of every one of his supporters, friends and family. Peace be with Oliver," they wrote.
