Management of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam plans to publish ancient inscriptions found during recent work on ‘Ghanta Matam,’ oldest of temple's five monasteries. Trust Board,led by chairman Pothugunta Ramesh Naidu and Executive Officer M . Srinivasa Rao, decided during meeting focused on temple operations,visitor experience.
Copper inscriptions unearthed during ‘Ghanta Matam’ renovation were deciphered by Archaeological Survey of India in Mysuru. Board confirmed these inscriptions will be turned into book. And they'll reprint spiritual texts like ‘Srisaila Khandam,’ ‘Srisaila Stotra Kadambam,’ and ‘Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Puja Vidhanam’.
Board discussed infrastructure needs for devotees. Plans include building queue complex,amenities complex,more restrooms on temple grounds . Lighting upgrades discussed,with high-mast tower lights proposed for parking,open spaces.
To boost temple's medical center,board passed resolution to invite tenders for essential medical supplies through e-procurement. Approved installation of octagonal electric poles,ring brackets,LED lights at key spots like route from Nandi Mandapam to RTC bus stand .
Plans add bunk beds in Ganesh Sadan,Mallikarjuna Sadan dorms. Maintenance,repairs for facilities like cottages,guest houses,main temple are on list. Electric vehicle charging stations will be set up at strategic points in temple town…
