For polio-free society,parents must get kids vaccinated,says N.H. Konaraddi,Navalgund's MLA. At National Pulse Polio Programme launch in Dharwad Sunday,he stressed community's role in fighting disease.
Mr. Konaraddi gave polio drops to kids at event,urged parents to use Pulse Polio campaign fully . He stressed vaccinating all kids under five,saying,“Vaccinating a child against polio is like providing security for their future.”
Campaign meticulously organized across district,with 891 Pulse Polio booths ready with Health Department staff . The MLA noted maintaining polio-free status isn't just government's job; every parent must help .
Alongside Mr. Konaraddi,local leaders like Hubballi-Dharwad Mayor Jyoti Patil,Deputy Commissioner Snehal R., District Surgeon Sangappa Gabi joined launch. They too gave polio drops to kids,stressing campaign's importance district-wide.
