SHANGHAI, May 30,2026 — The 28th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) has revealed the lineup for the prestigious Golden Goblet Awards, scheduled to take place from June 12 to 21. This year, the festival received a record-breaking 4,100 submissions from 125 countries and regions,with around 3,000 films qualifying for competition.

Notably, 82% of the entries are set to make their world or international premieres. festival has also welcomed submissions from countries such as Ghana and Mozambique, marking a significant expansion in its global reach. For the first time in its history,the Golden Goblet Main Competition will feature a lineup composed entirely of world premieres, showcasing Shanghai's rising status as a launchpad for filmmakers.

The Golden Goblet Awards serve as the centerpiece of SIFF's international competition, which includes various sections such as Main Competition, Asian New Talent,Documentary, Animation,and Short Film. The films selected for the Main Competition are:
