Transport Department in Telangana has tightened driving licence tests, speeding up pending applications on VAHAN portal. order came down Saturday after a review by Joint Transport Commissioner (Vigilance & Enforcement) M Chandrasekhar Goud about testing at Regional Transport Offices (RTOs).
Goud wants only qualified drivers to pass. He asked for tougher testing standards. Met applicants at RTOs,got feedback on service aspects like wait times and staff behavior. This move aims to improve experience for licence seekers.
