Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) launched action plan to boost facilities for pilgrims at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram . Temple's managed by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI),so both groups need to work together.
ASI officials and TTD’s Joint Executive Officer, A. Sharath,led team for site visit Thursday to check out proposed upgrades. Plan includes better drinking water, improved queue lines, repairing steps,plus building a ‘Yagasala’ and ‘Potu’ — temple's kitchen . Aim: make it more welcoming for devotees .
Sharath stressed urgency,saying development works will be fast-tracked once approvals are secured. “A report will be prepared with ASI,” he said. Planning team had Superintending Engineer Manoharam,Chief Public Relations Officer T . Ravi,Additional Health Officer Dr. Sunil, Assistant Executive Officer Gopinath,and temple priests .
