Saturday saw Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications,Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar,cut ribbon on Samriddhi Kendra in Narakoduru village,Guntur district. It's part of Bharat Net Udyami scheme aiming to boost rural development by pooling essential public services in one spot.
Local officials like Ponnuru MLA Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar showed up for the opening. After the ceremony,Dr. Pemmasani toured the facility with its 11 service divisions. Health ATM for diagnostics,postal office,Jan Aushadhi Kendra for cheap meds,FTTH broadband. And more. Quad Play connectivity,skill development centre,PM-WANI Wi-Fi,drone-based agri services,digital platforms.
Dr . Pemmasani stressed centre's role as rural model,echoing PM Narendra Modi's vision of job creation and reducing migration to cities . This pilot aims to turn rural dreams into reality through tech-driven services .

MLA Dhulipalla pointed to the centre's power to uplift youth,women,students,farmers with digital connectivity,access to government services. During event,15 students got AI training certificates,100 farmers received PMDS seeds.
